Job Description
Registered Nurse, OR travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,473–$2,557 per week. Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week). Setting: operating room in an acute care environment, supporting intraoperative patient care and perioperative workflow.

Responsibilities
- Deliver intraoperative nursing care for surgical patients, including positioning, monitoring, sterile technique, and documentation per standards of care.
- Scrub and circulate as part of the surgical team; assist with instrument handling, counts, and equipment needs.
- Monitor patient status and vital signs, anticipate needs of the procedure, and communicate with surgeons and anesthesia staff.
- Maintain sterile field, patient safety, and infection control throughout operative cases.
- Coordinate with circulating staff and other disciplines to ensure efficient, safe patient flow during procedures.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff as applicable, using professional judgment and collaboration with the team.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in California
- OR nursing experience preferred (minimum 1 year suggested)
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Education: ADN or BSN in nursing required; BSN preferred
- Ability to work in a surgical services OR environment and meet unit-specific requirements
