Baptist Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our Float Pool located in Jacksonville, FL and surrounding areas. This is a Full-Time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have experience performing back-office Medical Assistant duties, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting providers during patient visits and procedures. This individual must be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working at multiple clinic locations, supporting varying office workflows and patient care needs as required.

Certified Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physicians
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Required
