About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Hardware Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in Mogliano Veneto. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early‑career engineer to gain hands-on experience contributing to the design and development of innovative medical devices that directly support patient care worldwide.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative, international environment, supporting hardware architecture, design, testing, and integration activities across a broad range of products and accessories. You’ll be encouraged to learn, ask questions, and grow your technical skills while contributing to real-world engineering projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Junior Hardware Engineer, you will:
Support the design and development of electronic hardware for medical devices and accessories
Assist with schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout using industry-standard ECAD tools (e.g. Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics)
Participate in design reviews and learn best practices in hardware development, testing, and documentation
Support subsystem verification through analysis, lab testing, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including mechanical design, systems engineering, test engineering, and manufacturing
Assist with development and execution of test strategies, including Design for Test (DFT), ICT, and FCT concepts
Contribute to firmware or test software development (e.g. C/C++, Python, or C#) under guidance from senior engineers
Learn and follow Quality System procedures relevant to regulated medical device development
Communicate progress, challenges, and results clearly to your team and manager
What We’re Looking For
Education & Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Recent graduate or early-career engineer (internships, thesis work, or academic projects are a strong advantage)
Technical Skills (Nice to Have)
Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit design
Exposure to PCB design and schematic capture tools
Interest in embedded systems, microcontrollers, or ARM-based architectures
Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or C# is a plus
Awareness of medical device standards (e.g. IEC 60601) is beneficial but not required
Soft Skills
Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Good organizational and time-management skills
Proactive mindset with attention to detail
Language Requirements
Italian proficiency is required for internal communication and collaboration
Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English
Travel
Up to 20% domestic and international travel, based on project needs
