L2+/L2++ Driving Customer Function Owner

China is the biggest passenger car market for Mercedes-Benz. In Mercedes-Benz R&D China. We strive to provide China-fit ADAS products through advanced technologies to our Chinese customers. We are currently looking for ADAS experts who share the same passion and enthusiasm for developing a China-fit ADAS system.

· Deliver benchmark L2&L2+&L2++ features to China market, such as L2+/L2++ urban and highway navigated features.

· Responsible for researching and analyzing trends in China ADAS industry, investigating the development directions of cutting-edge technologies, conducting competitor benchmark and generating report with perspective insights.

· Participate in the data closed-loop design for ADAS L2+ urban and highway navigated features, analyze customer feedback and potential demands, and be responsible for continuous product life cycle optimization to enhance user experience.

· Closely collaborate with systems engineers to establish product design review processes, enhancing product design quality, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and successful delivery to end-customer.

Understand the China-specific feature requirements and breakdown into executable function effect chains in compatibility with internal and external development team.

Qualification

Education

MSc or PhD in Engineering or Automobile or equivalent qualification.

Experience

5 years of R&D experience with L2&L2+ ADAS function product design and system development, especially urban and highway navigated features Above 2 years of ADAS product design in TOP China OEM and ADAS companies will be a plus Deep understanding of data closed-loop methodology and proficiency in data analysis will be a plus

Specific knowledge

Deep knowledge of ADAS system/function development, system/function release process and relevant China local and international suppliers. Good knowledge of ADAS related regulations, like NCAP, CDAS, IVISTA, CICAP, etc. Good Knowledge of ADAS sensors Basic knowledge in Functional Safety, Security, Diagnostic, System Architecture of the vehicle and functional abilities on component level Strong ability to build-up and maintain relationships with other organizations & suppliers. Strong ability to resolve conflict with empathy and boldness in an intercultural working environment. Strong willingness to go the extra mile to achieve committed goals. Strong ownership and sense of risk management Ability to innovate & challenge the existing. Fluent in German and English language, additional Chinese helpful.
