Floor Tech

The Environmental Services Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling from one facility to another without assistance. Complete assigned projects (Stripping/ waxing / refinishing of hard surface Flooring, Carpet Extracting / Bonnet Buffing, Restorative scrub Ceramic tile). Work Indiviually and also in a team environment, complete other tasks as assigned. Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers etc.   Under the general supervision of the EVS Manager/Supervisor, duties include but are not limited to: Floor Scrubbing/stripping, refinishing, carpet shampooing, carpet extraction, cleaning floor corners/edges/baseboards,...
