How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Assess and tailor individualized clinical lactation plans to help mothers and infants achieve their unique breastfeeding goals safely and confidently.

  • Educate and empower new parents by demonstrating evidence-based techniques that promote the long-term health and developmental benefits of breastfeeding.

  • Collaborate and consult as the dedicated clinical expert, partnering seamlessly with nursing staff and physicians to ensure a unified approach to patient care.

  • Design and refine standardized patient education programs that elevate the quality of lactation support across the entire unit.

  • Analyze and optimize clinical outcomes by contributing to data-driven tools that continuously improve our delivery of care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certification specializing in Lactation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • 2 years previous experience as an IBCLC in a hospital setting preferred
