Enterprise Architect

Role Overview

As a Senior Architecture Manager within the Enterprise Architecture Tribe – Cloud Managed Services, you will be responsible for the architectural governance and strategic direction of cloud portfolio solutions across T-Systems platforms, including FCI, Open Telekom Cloud, Hyperscalers, and Enterprise Application offerings.

You will lead a team of Enterprise Architects with specialized cloud expertise, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and standardized architectures aligned with business and customer requirements. You will play a key role in defining architecture vision, standards, and roadmaps, driving innovation, and enabling business value through modern technologies.

Additionally, you will serve as a senior member of the Enterprise Architecture Council, contributing to enterprise-wide architectural decisions and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Leadership & Strategy

• Define and govern architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices across Cloud Managed Services
• Develop and maintain architecture vision and roadmaps aligned with business goals
• Ensure lifecycle alignment of architectures with customer and portfolio requirements
• Drive standardization and adoption of emerging technologies

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Collaborate with Portfolio, Sales, and Vertical Business teams to translate market needs into scalable architectures
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, partners, and internal committees
• Represent enterprise architecture capabilities in client discussions and governance forums
• Provide C-level consulting on platform architecture in customer engagements

Delivery & Solution Enablement

• Support pre-sales activities and solution design for cloud engagements
• Map customer requirements to existing and future cloud solutions
• Guide delivery teams in implementing innovative cloud architectures
• Work closely with Delivery Excellence, Solution Design, and Customer Delivery Managers

Team Leadership

• Provide technical leadership to global architecture teams
• Mentor and guide architects across different domains and geographies
• Identify and onboard skilled architects to strengthen capabilities

Architecture Governance & Optimization

• Create and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and frameworks
• Analyze existing cloud landscapes and identify optimization opportunities
• Ensure alignment with compliance, IT security, and regulatory requirements
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies and architectural patterns

Innovation & Market Insight

• Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and trends
• Drive innovation in cloud portfolio architecture
• Support continuous improvement of services and solutions

Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for internal teams and customers
• Develop knowledge assets, best practices, and reusable frameworks

Core Competencies

• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (FCI, OTC, Hyperscalers)
• Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and governance
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud architectures
• Experience in security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
