Staff Engineer, SAP-Financial Management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 6+ years
• Must have experience in SAP delivery, with at least Two SAP implementations
• Should be able to lead a team of SAP FICO, FM and FSCM functional experts in the design, implementation, and Support of SAP FICO, FM and FSCM modules
• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP FICO, FM & FSCM modules, including design, configuration, and testing of the system
• Should have experience with end-to-end implementation of SAP FICO and FM modules
• Should be proficient in SAP FICO configuration, customization, and enhancement techniques.
• Should have good understanding of finance and accounting principles and processes.
• Should have strong knowledge of SAP FICO module functionalities, including general ledger, accounts payable.
• Must have experience with accounts receivable, asset accounting, controlling, and Funds Management.
• Should have knowledge in integration with PS, PM, HR, MM, SD, FICA, CS, REFX & Bank Application
• Should be able to collaborate effectively with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Should be able to configure and customize SAP FICO, FM and FSCM modules to meet business requirements, develop test strategies, test plans and test scripts.
• SAP Certification will be an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
