Clinical Documentation Integrity Registered Nurse - Full Time

The Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Nurse is a Registered Nurse responsible for ensuring accurate, comprehensive, and clinically supported documentation of patient care within the medical record. This role plays a critical part in supporting optimal Severity of Illness (SOI), Risk of Mortality (ROM), coding accuracy, medical necessity, and reimbursement integrity. The CDI Nurse collaborates closely with providers, Nursing, Coding/HIM, Case Management, and Revenue Cycle to reduce clinical and financial risk, enhance documentation accuracy, and strengthen defensible medical records for optimal quality reporting and audit readiness.
