Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Full Time
Description: The Maintenance Purchasing Resource is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing materials, parts, and services required to support maintenance and facility needs. This role ensures timely availability of maintenance supplies/parts while controlling costs, maintaining supplier relationships, and aligning purchasing activities with safety, quality, and operational standards. The position works closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to minimize downtime, support preventive and corrective maintenance, and optimize inventory levels

- Provide written and oral communication to effectively communicate with all work groups
- Use resources to manage, optimize, and consolidate indirect suppliers
- Responsible for sourcing, selection, and procurement functions for indirect materials/services, production materials, fixed assets and tooling.
- Study inventory levels of current stock to develop strategic purchasing programs that facilitate employee access to supplies.
- Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
Required Experience:
- Technical or Associates degree and/or applicable knowledge/experience
- Proven experience in the purchasing field
- Project management and execution skill set with data analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Maintenance Management Systems
- Experience and/or training in computer controlled manufacturing process system
- High School diploma or GED
