Field Technician

The Field Survey Technician performs a broad range of land surveying field activities supporting boundary, topographic, construction staking, ALTA, control, and related survey projects. This role consolidates responsibilities historically performed by Survey Crew Members, Crew Chiefs, and Field Technicians, with duties and expectations scaling by experience, demonstrated competency, and leadership capability. Work is performed under the technical direction of a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/RPLS) and coordinated through the Survey Resource Manager or Survey Team Leader.
