Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Function:
Supervise and manage a region of Community Branch Managers with effective coaching and guidance to achieve established Retail Goals. Designs and manages Retail product development and execution strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assists the Manager/Branch Administration to ensure profitable growth, superior service and the efficient and effective operation of the area branches by performing the following functions:
o Develops a strong Our Share Future Sales & Service culture throughout the branch and region with the review and inspection of Customer Insight surveys and adherence to the Services standards outlined in the Branch Playbook.
o Assists and inspects the execution of sales skills and service standards in support of the Bank’s Our Shared Future purpose, five values and core drivers
o Uses personal and professional skills to solve problems, clear roadblocks to success, provide direction and clarification, act as information source, and communicate expectations and standards, and provide feedback on performance.
o Reviews and recommends improved operating policies and ensures the proper implementation of approved changes.
o Assists with operational excellence in resolution of operational and customer problems.
o Conducts monthly managers' meetings, weekly manager conference calls, etc.
o Coaches Community Banking Managers to achieve pre-determined branch sales goals.
o Participates in a rotation schedule to attend new hire training and welcome new colleagues to the branch family.
o Promotes teamwork and lateral service within branches.
o Reviews, evaluates, and approves loans within specified lending limits.
o Approves capital expenditures.
o Assists branches in the recovery and prevention of fraud/loss.
· Communicates with branch personnel to provide training and to review bank policies, product knowledge, and customer service responsibilities. Ensures that branch personnel meet standards of professionalism.
· Performs certain "first-line" Human Resource functions:
o Delegates appropriate duties and responsibilities to subordinates. Instructs employees in time management techniques to help them complete their duties in an efficient manner.
o Coordinates with Regional Management and Human Resources on branch staffing needs, including active recruiting. Ensures staff development and handles succession planning and other personnel issues as needed.
o Completes employee performance reviews and conducts interviews with employees to discuss performance, goals, and objectives.
o Makes recommendations for branch personnel regarding employment, performance ratings, salary changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations - including personnel development and career planning.
· Calls on existing and prospective bank customers in order to enhance relationships, develop new business, and increase bank market share. Acts as a project manager on behalf of the Retail Division to include various bank-wide initiatives including Audit responses, product design, staffing consultation, sales strategies, etc.
· When called upon, acts as a mentor to newer position Regional Managers.
· Establishes a leadership role in civic and community functions to enhance image and develop business.
· Interacts with other bank officers to further expand existing customer relationships and develop new contacts.
· Maintains prescribed security controls to protect the branch against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure.
· Ensures that branch facilities are in good operational repair and recommends capital improvements.
· Keeps informed of current developments and trends and federal and state regulations as they relate to all areas of branch operations.
· Maintains a good working relationship with all bank employees. Demonstrates the ability to work independently. Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization.
· Completes NMLS requirements as part of the S.A.F.E. Act certification. Proof of registration with the registry and verification of a unique identifier as established under the guidelines of the S.A.F.E. Act is required upon hire and/or must be obtained prior to performing the duties of a Mortgage Loan Originator, as defined by the Act. This registration must be maintained annually in accordance with the S.A.F.E. Act
· Assumes additional duties as required.
Physical Demands:
Operates a keypad device: 40% of the day; operates office equipment: 10% of the day; Travels: 50% of the day. Sitting is required 30% of the day; walking is required 20% of the day. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. Requires travel for Business Development and training up to 50% of the time. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”- 20” for computer work and travel 40% of the business day. Salary Range:
$95,000.00 - $283,500.00
