Job Description
- Food Preparation – Together with the other Cook (zelfstandig Werkend Kok) plan, organise and direct the preparation and cooking of the changing daily menus ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times. Samen met de andere kok (zelfstandig werkend kok) plan, organiseer en leid je de bereiding en het koken van de wisselende dagmenu’s, waarbij je te allen tijde de voedselveiligheidsnormen naleeft.
- Kitchen Management – oversee the production of all food items assigned to your station and upkeep the kitchen with supplies and ensure cleanliness in line with policies and procedures, taking responsibility for the food production with a hands-on approach. Je houdt toezicht op de productie van alle voedselitems die aan jou zijn toegewezen, zorgt voor voldoende voorraad en houdt de keuken schoon volgens het beleid en de procedures. Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor de voedselproductie met een praktische aanpak.
- Quality Control – maintain high quality standards for all food handled, ensuring presentation and taste is considered at all times. Je handhaaft hoge kwaliteitsnormen voor alle voedselproducten, waarbij presentatie en smaak altijd in acht worden genomen.
- Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with all other team members and assist/support all colleagues where necessary. Je communiceert effectief met alle andere teamleden en biedt hulp/ondersteuning aan collega’s waar nodig.
- Cleaning and Maintenance – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order, ensure compliance with all aspects of food safety and health and safety. Je zorgt voor netheid en organisatie in de keuken, controleert of apparatuur goed werkt en voldoet aan alle aspecten van voedselveiligheid en gezondheid en veiligheid.
- Managing Budget - Implement and maintain food monitoring procedures to facilitate budgetary control and to monitor all costs involved in the kitchen against agreed budgets. Je implementeert en onderhoudt procedures voor voedselmonitoring om budgettaire controle te vergemakkelijken en bewaakt alle kosten in de keuken ten opzichte van de afgesproken budgetten.
- Proven experience working as a Chef or display a real passion for food Aantoonbare ervaring als kok of een echte passie voor koken
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines Kennis van kooktechnieken en keukens
- Great understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Goed begrip van voedselveiligheid en hygiënepraktijken
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Vermogen om te werken in een dynamische omgeving
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Uitstekende aandacht voor detail en organisatorische vaardigheden
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en teamgerichtheid
- Fluent in English Vloeiend in Engels
- Approachable, well-presented, and service-oriented Toegankelijk, verzorgd en servicegericht
- Driver license In het bezit van een rijbewijs

- Available 30-38 hours per week - Monday to Tuesday/Fiday (7:30 till 15:30) Beschikbaar voor 30–38 uur per week - maandag tot donderdag/vrijdag (van 7:30 tot 15:30)
