Let’s Talk about the Role

The Workshop Associate will perform essential maintenance, repairs, and quality oversight for our heavy-duty hydroelectric equipment.

You will act as a vital member of our Lier workshop team, ensuring our specialized machinery and tools are serviced to the highest standards. In this role, you will combine technical precision with a proactive approach to safety and quality, ensuring that our hydropower solutions continue to support a sustainable energy future across Norway and the Nordics.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Maintaining high standards of service and repair for large-scale hydropower machinery and specialized workshop tools.
• Planning tasks and managing resource requirements to ensure efficient workflow and project delivery.
• Collaborating closely with our quality teams to implement improvements and maintain technical excellence.
• Championing a strong safety culture by serving as a resource for health, safety, and environment (HSE) training and best practices.
• Supporting field operations through occasional short-term service visits to hydropower sites across the region.

Skills for Success

You should be a collaborative and detail-oriented technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced workshop environment, with:

• The ability to perform technical inspections, measurements, and maintenance on complex mechanical components.
• The capability to navigate computer systems effectively for planning and reporting.
• An understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in an industrial setting.
• An expertise in workshop tools and equipment, ideally supported by relevant mechanical certifications (such as a crane or forklift license).
• A keen interest in continuous improvement and contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture.

A formal trade certificate as an Industrial Mechanic is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
