Key Accountabilities
1) Shaving Procurement Strategy & Governance
- Own and maintain the integrated procurement strategy for Shaving, translating business priorities into a clear procurement roadmap (targets, initiatives, milestones, and dependencies).
- Act as the single point of contact for Shaving leadership on procurement topics (strategy, performance, risks, supplier matters, escalations).
- Establish and run a structured governance cadence (monthly performance review, quarterly strategy refresh) with transparent reporting on KPIs, savings funnel, pipeline progress, and risk mitigation.
- Drive alignment across Procurement, Category teams and the Shaving business category on priorities, trade-offs, and delivery commitments.
2) Procurement Engineering Value Delivery (Product Lifecycle)
- Lead end-to-end procurement engineering engagement across New Product Introductions (NPI), sustaining engineering, and cost-down programs for Shaving.
- Drive early supplier involvement and design-to-cost / design-for-procurement practices to influence product architecture and supplier choices.
- Lead value engineering workshops and cost-driver analyses to deliver cost, quality and supply performance improvements.
- Develop and validate should-cost models and total-cost-of-ownership assessments; use these insights to steer sourcing decisions and negotiations.
- Ensure robust supplier readiness and performance in collaboration with Supplier Quality, Engineering and Operations (qualification inputs, issue resolution, cost of non-quality prevention).
3) Sourcing Plan Leadership and Supplier Strategy (Shaving)
- Own the Shaving sourcing plan and supplier strategy across the portfolio, integrating category strategies into a coherent business plan.
- Co-lead supplier selection and award recommendations for Shaving projects, ensuring the right balance of cost, quality, innovation, and supply resilience.
- Lead supplier performance and relationship management for critical suppliers within the Shaving scope, including escalation management and structured improvement plans.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks (single/sole source, capacity, geopolitical, compliance, quality) and drive mitigation actions with stakeholders.
4) KPI Ownership and Performance Management
- Own the Shaving procurement KPI framework and dashboard, including value delivery, pipeline health, execution progress, and risk KPIs.
- Ensure KPI definitions, baselines, targets and tracking mechanisms are aligned with Finance and the Shaving business.
- Drive accountability for action owners and ensure delivery through structured follow-up and escalation.
5) Cross-Functional and Matrix Leadership
- Lead a virtual, cross-functional “Shaving Procurement Value Squad” (procurement engineering, category, SQE, finance partners and engineering stakeholders) to deliver the roadmap.
- Coach and enable teams on DfX and Value Architecture methods and disciplined execution (DfX toolset, should-costing, value engineering, TCO thinking, and structured problem solving).
- Represent procurement in business and engineering forums, enabling fast decision-making and alignment.
Key Deliverables
- Shaving procurement strategy and annual/rolling product roadmap translated to supplier capability and technical requirement roadmaps
- Monthly KPI and performance review; quarterly strategy refresh outputs with the Business Category cross functional team
- Savings funnel and initiative pipeline with validated financial impact
- DfX roadmap and execution for business category
- Business cases for product optimization (value, cost, sustainability, etc)
- TCO models and value engineering outputs for priority programs
- Shaving sourcing plan and supplier portfolio plan (including resilience and risk mitigation)
- Escalation and recovery plans for key supplier/quality/supply issues
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Operations, Business or equivalent.
- Strong procurement engineering expertise with demonstrable delivery in NPI and cost-down/DfX/value engineering programs.
- Advanced cost engineering capability (should-costing, cost-driver modelling, TCO/NPV, business case development).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence senior leaders in a matrix environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, drive governance cadence, and deliver results.
- Experience managing supplier strategy and performance across complex product portfolios.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to structure problems, define KPIs, and drive performance management.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

- Accountable for procurement value delivery and performance for the Shaving business portfolio, including major spend and multi-stakeholder decision-making.
- Operates in a high-complexity environment with competing priorities, multiple interfaces, and significant business impact.
