Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.
Day to Day Responsibility
• Be responsible for financial closing related to sales and OPEX spending.
• Prepare regular sales report, sales forecast and analysis.
• Prepare OPEX spending report, budget/forecast analysis, and monitor and control OPEX spending within budget.
• Provide financial support to commercial activities, including credit & collection management, sales rebate related support, debit/credit memo support, customer trading inventory forecast, pricing and margin analysis etc.
• Support CET China Pricing Committee activities
• Support CET China budgeting and forecasting process
• Support various CET China regional manufacturing and commercial projects through financial analysis and ad hoc business support
• Support CET China regional FP&A activities and maintain relevant financial database
• Support finance process improvement, control enhancements, digital tool adoption to improve finance efficiency and data quality
Education & Experience
- Bachelor and /or above in finance, accounting, or a related field from a reputable university
- CICPA / ACCA preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in finance within a multinational company
- Big 4 Audit firm experience preferred
Required Skills. Competencies, or Certification
Competencies (knowledge, skills, and behaviors)
- High ethics and integrity
- Strong understanding and application of accounting and finance principles.
- Working knowledge and application of PRC GAAP, US GAAP, PRC regulations and policies.
- Solid knowledge of using an ERP system, SAP experience is preferred
- Strong analytical and accounting technical skills
- Good command of Excel, Power BI and other digital solutions
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skill
- Team-oriented, accountable, and responsible
