Lead Technician- Bolt Torquing & Tensioning || KSA
Job Description
The Lead Technician is responsible for independently and as part of a team carrying out bolt torquing, tensioning, and related maintenance activities in oil & gas, petrochemical, and process plant environments. Ensures safe, efficient, and leak-free operations while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Execute hydraulic, pneumatic, and manual bolt torquing and hydraulic bolt tensioning.
Perform nut splitting, flange spreading, and alignment tasks.
Select, set up, and maintain tools and consumables for each job.
Follow work instructions to achieve correct torque/tension values and sequences.
Maintain accurate job records and complete flange tightening reports.
Troubleshoot issues like damaged threads, fasteners, or gasket failures.
Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, and client representatives on site activities.
Uphold safety protocols, including PPE usage and hazard awareness.
Conduct routine maintenance on bolting tools and report malfunctions.
