Job Title:  Virtual Care Coordinator 

Reports To:  Director of Care Coordinators 

Employment Status:  Full-time, Remote

Virtual Care Coordinator Position Summary: 
Overall job

include checking patients in and out, collecting copays, going over insurance

, and scheduling follow up appointments as needed.  You will work with internal teams of Care Coordinators to assist with customer service and scheduling efforts and coverage needed at other clinics.  Candidate will work closely with and report to Director of Care Coordinators. 

 

What Does This Mean?: 

• The Virtual Care Coordinator will not replace current Care Coordinators – they will assist with staffing shortages and coverage as needed 

• The Virtual Care Coordinator will be the face of the kiosk in the waiting room for patients to check in 

• This Care Coordinator will be able to assist multiple clinics with the check-in process (depending on the clinic size) 

• Assist with various front office duties such as reminder calls, POC reports, scheduling new evaluations. 

Responsibilities

Position Summary: 

• Interface with patients/customers via telecommunications prior to, during and after appointments 

• Develop and maintain customer relations 

• Coordinate with various staff within PappasOPT to ensure patient/customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner
