Industrial Electrician III
Roles, Responsibilities and Expectations:
As an electrician, you will be responsible for the complete installation on all projects assigned and will be expected to grow in your knowledge and experience. (Candidate must have Industrial electrical experience).
You will be expected to be able to accomplish/ master the following:
Trouble shoot electrical systems and report and/or repair
Assess service calls
Plan work schedule and materials needed on a daily and weekly basis
Manage production materials and tools to ensure that jobs are completed on time and under budget
Be able to lay out the jobs for efficient and effective execution
Utilize tools and equipment in a safe manner and maintain them (Storing them in proper place so as not to get damaged or subject to weather)
Maintain a clean work site (Clean up any trash and material daily)
Maintain good communication with supervisor and office (Job status, Issues with tools and/or vehicles)
Be able to maintain good working relations with other employees
Be able to maintain company vehicles in orderly fashion and keep clean
Be able to assess on site issues and resolve them in a cost effective and timely manner
Be able to work in all weather conditions.
On-call
Successful completion of government background check
Skill set to include:
Electricians license required.
Ability to read blueprints/technical diagrams and know how to interpret into complete installation and keep up to date red lines
Experience with installation of electrical gear, conduit, wire, wiring devices
Experience with bending and threading rigid metallic conduit
5-7 years' Electrical experience
Experience sizing conduit and conductors according to NEC
Experience with instrumentation installation and termination
Ability to trouble shoot electrical systems, controls systems
Self-starter, do whatever it takes to get the job done on time and within budget
