Number of Direct Reports (Solid Line) : NA Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line) : NA Number of Outsourced Reports : NA Purpose of the Job : This position is responsible to ensure equipment reliability by effective and systematic maintenance initiatives at optimum cost and efficiency. It is also responsible to lead and implement improvement projects Major Responsibilities : Equipment Upkeep, Maintenance activities and adherence to identified schedules of PM • Planning and Execution of identified Energy Conservation Activities • Control of Section Maintenance Cost • Adhence and compliance to Safety of plant and machinery Unsafe condition reduction. Statutory Audit Compliance for activities pertaining to the section • Increase Employee participation in various initiatives • Plan and implement / upgradation / Capex activities as per plan • Reliable operation and maintenance of Utility Equipment (Compressors, Cooling Tower, Pumps, Vacuum system, Dryers, HVAC and Air handling Units) • Required Spares arrangement • To be responsible for ensuring Environment, Health Safety (EHS) related aspects in the section. Should act as a respondent to all EHS related matters of the section. Take ownership in case of any emergency / disaster as per the Emergency Preparedness Plan / Disaster Mgt. Plan • To be responsible for all safety related aspect of the process machine with regards to Electrical and Process related hazards. Skills : Product Knowledge for Operation of Utility system, Operating maintenance procedures of equipment auxiliaries (like Boilers, compressor, pumps, chillers, Cooling Towers, Cooling water systems, AC , Raw water system, RO plant), FO handling system , Troubleshooting, Awareness on work permit system Decision making, Communication, Knowledge of safety hazards involved, Awareness on onsite emergency plan. Awareness on applicable legal requirements Knowledge of integrated management systems requirements including related aspects impact hazard risk in own area Root cause and failure analysis Advance PLC and automation MS Office Relevant Experience : 18-20yrs Education Qualification(s) :BE -Mechanical.
