We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Distribution Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, support team performance, and help drive efficient distribution processes. This mid-level role is ideal for a warehouse professional with supervisory experience who is comfortable leading employees, maintaining operational standards, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse and departmental activities to ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and efficiently.
- Train new employees, support team development, and participate in employee performance review processes.
- Monitor employee performance levels, address workflow challenges, and resolve workplace conflicts in a professional and effective manner.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to ISO guidelines, safety procedures, and standard operating processes.
- Participate in brainstorming and process improvement initiatives to streamline routine activities and support departmental goals.
- Lead special projects as assigned by management and communicate effectively with leadership regarding operational needs and priorities.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, with 3-5 years of related warehouse or distribution experience.
- Prior supervisory experience in a warehouse environment is required.
- Strong communication, training, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
- Direct experience with MRP systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, transfer logs, shipping instructions, and procedural documents, and perform routine mathematical calculations.
- Valid driver's license required, with the ability to operate onsite forklifts and a company box truck as needed.

This role requires the ability to work flexible shifts, which may include overtime, and to perform physical warehouse duties such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting or moving materials. Team members may regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
