Compensation: $21.25 - $23.00 / hour
Description
Ucluelet Harbour Seafoods (UHS) a member of Pacific Seafood Group is pleased to offer opportunities working in our fish processing facility located in beautiful Ucluelet, British Columbia where we process locally harvested seafood for worldwide distribution. We operate our fishing fleet of company owned and independent fishing vessels ensuring a consistent supply for processing. Our parent company Pacific Seafood was founded in 1941 and continues to provide fresh, sustainable, high-quality products to the world. Limited living accommodation available for qualified candidates
Key Responsibilities
- Dock crew/vessel offload
- Cutting Machine Drivers/Feeders
- Filleters
- Freezer & Mastering /Case-up
- Panners / Packers
- Other Technical Positions (APC)
- IQF Tunnel feeding / Freezing & Mastering
- Plant Cleaners
- Quality Control Inspectors
- Forklift drivers
- Supervisors
Qualifications/Requirements
- Reliable and punctual, must be able to meet shift expectations
- Able to work with others on a fast-moving production line
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Some positions, ability to lift up to 50 lb. /23kg
- Valid social Insurance number or temporary work permit required
