Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring an Endoscopy Technician for our New Endoscopy Unit. This is a Full Time, Day shift in Charlottesville, VA! Schedule: Five 8 hour shifts: The Start time is variable between 630am and 8am.
This role will support our new outpatient Endoscopy unit opening January 2026! No Call Required. Training will be within the main hospital endoscopy unit.
Endoscopy Unit:
Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital’s Digestive Care Center’s board-certified gastroenterologists, including two Gastroenterology physicians and a colorectal surgeon, treat a variety of diseases affecting the gallbladder, liver, mouth, stomach, intestines, pancreas, colon, and esophagus. The new department will have 4 procedure rooms. NO call is required but is available for additional hours in the main Endoscopy unit.
Education
High School Graduate or equivalent required
Training from vocational or military preferred
Certification/Licensure
BLS required within 90 days of hire
Experience
Patient Care Experience Required
Endoscopy experience preferred
Sterile Processing experience preferred
2 years of Procedural Experience preferred
