Job Description

The VP is responsible for servicing their assigned clients, that these client relationships are developed and maintained and ensures that the teams provide exceptional customer service. The VP will ensure that the teams under supervision operate effectively and efficiently and that team members are properly guided and motivated. The VP will take care of executing the company’s strategy and meeting the objectives of the company while ensuring that the policies and guidelines laid down by the company are fully understood and are properly and effectively implemented.

Supervising Vice Presidents’ responsibilities will include:

Client Relationships

  • Centralize control of client service delivery; proactively and reactively build team infrastructure and skills to ensure excellent service delivery. 
  • Focus on client service level and satisfaction; fully understand client/business needs and deliverables and strive to build positive, long-term client relationships by taking ownership of issues and using relationship management skills to deal with all situations.
  • Advocate continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence; regularly investigate processes, generate different and innovative solutions that address workflows and meaningful work issues, problems and opportunities. 
  • Liaise with clients and teams re. various client reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring delivery in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Monitor client profitability results and invoicing process, control if all services are properly charged to the client and escalate accordingly, contribute to fees renegotiation, if applicable.
  • Contribute to business development and participate in presentations to existing and prospective clients.

Projects/Development

  • Participate in and lead ad-hoc projects that may be defined in connection with the continuing expansion and evolution of the business.
  • Identify areas in which efficiency or quality can be gained.

Team Management

  • Clearly and succinctly convey information, business decisions and ideas to individuals and teams.
  • Supervise client teams, provide guidance to Account Managers.
  • Resolve complaints and inquiries escalated by Account Managers and other staff.
  • Develop and motivate the team members and identify their training needs.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and effectively in your team.

     

  • Advise Management timely of additional resource needs and involvement in subsequent recruitment process.
  • Keep Management abreast of important issues and escalate potential challenges & obstacles.
  • Develop, adhere and maintain other targets concerning staffing: production, overtime budgeting and productivity.
  • Proactively foster an interactive and collaborative team environment with own and other teams in local and virtual team settings to facilitate the accomplishment of business goals.

Other

  • Maintain relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers, tax advisors, auditors and other parties.
  • Any other functions required as part of the business of the Company, and reporting to the Managing Director.

 

Education, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in business economics, business administration, finance or business-related area 
  • Minimum of 6-7 years experience in accounting

  • Proven strong client relationship skills and partnering with institutional clients

  • Proven track record in successfully managing teams

  • Fluent in English.
