Job Description
- Be responsible for overseeing the annual statutory financial statements and tax compliance process, including management of the external audit and tax filings for a portfolio of Alphabet's financial services companies in EMEA.
- Partner closely with cross-functional business leaders to provide strategic accounting support for the development and launch of new products and expansion into new markets.
- Identify process and strategic improvement opportunities by leveraging AI, scripts, and automation tools to streamline financial reporting workflows, reduce manual intervention, and enhance the function's overall value proposition.
- Perform regular in-depth analysis on the financials, ensuring the integrity and financial accuracy of our books and records, while preparing, analyzing and posting journals at month end.
- Review reconciliations of key balance sheet account balances including relevant reporting for same.
