Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic performs maintenance, preventative maintenance, changeovers, adjustments, troubleshooting, minor and major repair of production and packaging equipment and assures electrical and mechanical systems function adequately to minimize down time. The technician must adhere to all SOPs, cGMPs, and plant quality, safety, and documentation systems requirements and other related duties essential to the operation or special assignments as required.Hourly Range: $20.49 - $30.21
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT
Maintaining robotic systems, vision systems, bar code verification equipment, and line control management
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical and programming components, including PLC, servo drives and related components, as used in manufacturing and packaging equipment
Properly resourcing and using manuals, SOPs, specifications, vendor contacts, and other workplace aids
Completing corrective actions and preventative actions to include predictive maintenance
Actively communicating equipment status, work assignments and other related information with
manufacturing and other cross functional stakeholders.
Preparing documents to include maintenance, quality, production change control requirements,
and other documents/reports as deemed appropriate
Promoting safe work practices
Competing assigned training in a timely manner
Training new and existing personnel as required
Participating in workplace continuous improvement projects
Monitoring the work of others to include OEM technicians and contracted vendors
Scheduling, organizing work methods, materials and parts
Other duties as assigned
