Reports To: Front Office Manager / General Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Position Summary
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while efficiently handling check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest requests. This role represents the hotel’s first and last impression and ensures all guests receive friendly, accurate, and timely service consistent with Hampton standards.
Key Responsibilities

Greet guests in a warm, professional manner.

Process check-ins and check-outs accurately using the hotel PMS.

Handle reservations, room assignments, and billing transactions.

Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.

Maintain accurate cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation.

Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and lobby area.

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.

Assist with night audit or additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.

Strong communication and computer skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
