Dietary Cook – Full-Time
Canyon Springs Post Acute – San Jose, CA
Canyon Springs Post Acute is growing and looking to expand our team! We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our work family and help provide quality meals to our residents.
Compensation
- $20.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients following recipes
- Ensure all meals meet dietary restrictions and quality standards
- Check ingredients for freshness and proper storage
- Plate, arrange, and garnish food in an appealing manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
- Follow all food safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- ServSafe certification is a plus
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety practices
