Estimator-Field Service
Summary
The Estimator is responsible to support the Field Service Manager performing analysis and data gathering functions to develop cost estimates and process analysis for field service activities covering on-site troubleshooting, repairs, rebuilds, up-grades and new installation across a diverse array of equipment.

What you’ll do
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.
- Creates relevant project schedule and adjusts and maintains schedule by continuous tracking progress and performance.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Track job performance and monitor for deviations from quoted times and costs and invoicing.
What you’ll need
- Associate degree or higher in an engineering, technical or business discipline or appropriate work experience required.
- Result focused, well organized, self-motivated person with excellent investigative skills.
- Strong commitment to providing superior customer service in conjunction with excellent communication skills on all levels.
- Has technical training, a Mechanical Engineering degree is a plus but not required.
- Prefer candidate to have sound knowledge and understanding of machinery basics, a high aptitude in mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of Standard MS Office application.
- Knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and OneNote applications.
- A willingness to travel if needed to perform their duties to our customers and/or suppliers in United States and other North American countries.
- Strong written, verbal and computer skills required.
