Position Summary:
Responsible for performing physical and document inspections on all inbound and outbound material to assure they are correct and complete prior to use or sale.
Responsibilities:
- Use of measuring instruments, gauges, optical, fixtures for sample testing
- Affix appropriate approval or rejection tags to materials and/or documents
- Communicate to production supervisor any problems encountered during shift
- Complete all necessary quality documentation and certificates
- Maintain the quality database
- Generate customer material certifications
- Coordinate with production operators any/all inspection requirements
- Conduct all tests or checks required
- Catalog and maintenance of all gauges used in production
Education and Experience:
- High School or Equivalency Diploma
- Minimum 2 years previous related experience
- Blueprint reading experience preferred
- Statistical analysis experience preferred
