Job Description
People & Culture Director will lead our People & Culture initiatives in a transformative phase of hospitality excellence. This role is central to shaping a high-performance culture that aligns with organizational goals and supports innovative growth strategies.
As the People & Culture Director at Hotel Emma, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a champion of talent development, service culture, and organizational change. You will play a pivotal role in driving and executing people strategies that elevate associate experience, drive operational excellence, and support long-term growth. Accountable for Emma Strong elements & disciplines that is measured by 5 diamond experience.
Essential Functions:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with senior leadership and Silver Ventures Corporate People & Culture team to guide and implement people strategies that align with transformation goals.
- Translate high-level business objectives into people initiatives that foster a culture of productivity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Talent Attraction & Development
- Guide recruitment strategies to attract, develop, and retain top-tier hospitality talent.
- Champion leadership development programs that build internal capabilities and support succession planning.
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Serve as a steward of organizational culture, facilitating associate recognition, communication, and engagement initiatives.
Performance & Organizational Development
- Implement organizational development programs in partnership with Silver Ventures Corporate People & Culture focusing on service transformation and operational agility.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with legal requirements and uphold brand standards.
Transformation & Change Management
- Lead change management efforts tied to hospitality innovation and operational transformation.
Required Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in luxury hospitality or related service-focused environments.
- Proven success in partnering with senior leadership and external stakeholders to drive culture and business transformation.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
