The Role
We are currently transforming the way we engage with our vet clinic customers by building a more dynamic, future-ready engagement model. As a result, we are now recruiting for the newly created role of Online & Retail Account Manager and we are flexible for you to be based out of either Brisbane (Northgate) or Sydney (Erskine Park).

This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow a portfolio of online, eCommerce, and retail accounts, driving sustainable sales while carefully balancing profitability and long-term business success. You will play a key role in delivering sales growth across digital channels while ensuring commercial discipline and alignment to broader organisational goals. This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys combining relationship management with analytical thinking and commercial delivery.

Your responsibilities will include –

  • Account management and growth – Build strong relationships and execute plans to grow key online and retail accounts
  • Commercial performance & profitability – Deliver sustainable sales growth by tracking performance against revenue, margin, and KPI targets; monitor pricing, promotions, and discounting; and support analysis of promotional effectiveness
  • Channel management & governance – Maintain healthy channel dynamics and proactively manage risks of cannibalisation and channel conflict
  • Sales planning & execution – Develop and maintain account-level sales plans and forecasts
  • Partner with marketing, supply chain, and sales teams to execute initiatives effectively
  • Support product launches, campaigns, and in-market activities
  • Contribute to regular performance reviews and planning cycles

About You

Ideally you will display –

  • 1–3 years’ experience in account management, inside sales, or commercial roles
  • Understanding of eCommerce and retail sales environments (preferred)
  • Strong commercial foundation with a proactive, analytical mindset and the ability to balance growth, margin, and strategic priorities
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Commercial curiosity with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Industry experience within animal health, human health, pharmaceutical, wholesale, or a similar sector with supply chain considerations
