Job Description
Maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques. Maintains knowledge about radiation protection and MRI safety. Prepares for and assists the radiologist in the completion of intricate Magnetic Resonance procedures. Prepares and administers contrast media in accordance with state and federal regulations. Technologists are the primary liaison between patients, radiologists, and other members of the support team. Performs procedures using magnetic resonance imaging.
Minimum Education: Completion of Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy program.
Minimum Experience: Two-years preferred
Required Certification: MRT; BLS
Required Licensure: TDH / ARRT with MR Certification
