Position Summary
The Cath Lab Tech performs direct and indirect functions in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Assists all Physicians/staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Scrubs monitors and circulates in all invasive procedures in the Cath lab and IVR. (Invasive/surgical and interventional procedures) inventory control. Able to function on all cardiac alerts and STEMI cases.
- Assists with Cardiovascular and Radiologic Invasive Procedures
- Monitors and documents patient information
- Image Processing
- Patient/Family Teaching
- Patient Care
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
Experience:
- Required: One-year hospital experience in Radiology
- Preferred: Prior experience in Special Procedures or Cath Lab preferred
Licenses:
- Current ARRT License
Certifications:
- General Radiographer certification, State of Florida (CRT ).
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
