This role plays a critical part in strengthening clinical documentation integrity across healthcare organizations by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance in DRG assignment and coding practices. You will serve as a subject matter expert, bridging clinical, coding, and revenue cycle teams to improve documentation quality and support appropriate reimbursement outcomes. The position combines education, auditing, and process improvement, with a strong focus on developing training programs for Clinical Documentation Specialists and clinical staff. You will design and deliver targeted education for diverse healthcare audiences, from providers to coding teams, ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards. A key aspect of the role involves reviewing medical records, identifying opportunities for documentation improvement, and supporting clinical validation efforts. You will collaborate closely with leadership to enhance CDI workflows, policies, and compliance frameworks.
