The Fire Systems Technician will travel to customer sites to provide scheduled fire system testing and documentation.
What You Will Be Doing:
You would utilize testing apparatus to verify the operation of installed fire detection systems
Provide test results and summaries to clients on the functionality of Fire Detection system
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of Fire Detection Systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Assist in documenting service procedures and service-related activities
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality service to clients
What You Bring to Assure Success:
Previous experience in the service or installation of Fire Detection systems
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new technologies and basic troubleshooting techniques
Ability to work independently, be self-directed and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction
Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach
Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites
NICET Certification is preferred, but not required with the right experience. Any other industry related certs or training are also a plus. (Ex: Siemens, Simplex, etc.)
