Job Purpose
• Provides general administrative support to a department or group of professionals. Work is performed under general supervision and requires incumbents to exercise some independence and discretion
• The role may also provide secretarial services to one or more individuals
Job Description
• Collects, assembles, analyses and summarizes statistics and information from a variety of sources as directed
• Prepares charts, graphs and tables for presentations or inclusion in reports
• Issues regular reports and ad hoc analyses following established procedures
• Routes or answers routine correspondence not requiring supervisor attention
• Deals with external sources such as customers, partners and suppliers in order to resolve non-routine problems
• May proceed logistics/ travel arrangements and solve related issues, providing assistance and guidance to employees
• May assist in selection of potential new recruits
• May train and manage a small group of less senior employees and oversees the quality of their work
You are meant for this job if:
• Professional diploma in the discipline with a minimum 2 years of experience or 5 years of practical administrative experience
• Fluent in English
