About the Role:
The Director of Practice Management is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational and financial performance of professional practice groups within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing effective management strategies that enhance practice efficiency, patient satisfaction, and revenue growth. The Director will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure alignment of practice goals with organizational objectives, driving continuous improvement initiatives. They will also be accountable for managing budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in fostering a high-performing, patient-centered practice environment that supports sustainable growth and excellence in care delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of progressive experience in healthcare practice management or administration.
- Proven track record of managing multi-site healthcare practices or departments.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and reimbursement methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT integration.
- Certification in Practice Management (e.g., Certified Medical Practice Executive - CMPE).
- Experience in strategic planning and change management within healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with patient experience improvement methodologies and quality improvement frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of practice management strategies to improve operational efficiency and financial outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders and administrative staff to align practice goals with organizational priorities and patient care standards.
- Oversee budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation to ensure optimal use of assets and cost control.
- Implement performance measurement systems and analyze key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies across all practice operations.
- Drive initiatives to enhance patient experience, staff engagement, and overall practice culture.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to support practice needs and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to practice management teams.
