Job Description
[What the role is]
This role is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality teaching in Human Resource Management with a strong emphasis on HR technology, analytics, process workflow automation and digitally enabled people practices. The role will design and review curriculum for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET), support applied learning through industry projects, and contribute to student development, school initiatives and partnerships with industry.[What you will be working on]
- Design, develop and deliver modules in human resource management, with particular strength in areas such as HR analytics, HR technology and HR process automation, AI in HR, workforce planning, learning and talent development, performance management, and change management.
- Create and review teaching, learning and assessment materials for PET and CET learners to ensure curriculum relevance, rigour and employability outcomes.
- Keep abreast of developments in HR technology, people analytics and digital workforce transformation, and translate these into updated curriculum and learning activities.
- Facilitate active, practice-oriented learning through projects, case studies, simulations and authentic assessment.
- Collaborate with industry partners to provide consultancy, live projects, internships and other applied learning opportunities in HR transformation and people practices.
- Supervise student projects, internships, competitions and overseas or community-based learning activities where relevant.
- Support SkillsFuture, CET, work-study and other institution-level initiatives related to lifelong learning and workforce upskilling.
- Contribute to school, polytechnic and cross-institution committees, quality assurance processes and strategic initiatives.
[What we are looking for]
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business, Organisational Development, People Analytics, Information Systems / Digital Business (with HR relevance), or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 to 8 years of relevant industry experience across domains such as People Operations (HR Shared Services), People Analytics, People and Culture, HR Digital Transformation, Human Capital Management Systems, and Talent Management.
- Candidates with prior teaching experience, industry certifications, consultancy experience, or experience implementing HR technologies and analytics tools will have an advantage.
- Domain required Demonstrated ability to teach or work in at least two of the following areas: HR analytics, HR technology and automation, AI in HR, total rewards, learning and talent development, performance management, workforce planning, change management, or work behaviour.
- Familiarity with IHRP-related competency areas, CET programme development, and interdisciplinary teaching across business and technology subjects is desirable.
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to mentor students and collaborate effectively with colleagues and industry partners.
- A passion for education and student development, with the ability to support both academic and applied learning outcomes.
