Steam Turbine Generator (STG) & Balance of Plant (BOP) Project Engineer

Job Scope: Execute engineering activities for both Proposal and Execution level for Steam Turbine Generator (STG) and Balance of Plant (BOP) projects supplied by Toshiba, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and project schedules, from bid review through customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute projects involving STG, auxiliaries, condenser, Gas Extraction System and BOP systems; clearly define customer and owner scope boundaries.
• Review customer bid documents, site data, standards, mandatory requirements, and commercial conditions (LDs/penalties).
• Prepare and issue technical clarifications and deviations, and support customer resolution.
• Develop and coordinate engineering documents and drawings across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Perform design reviews, checklist-based verification, and quality reviews of all deliverables.
• Ensure timely managerial approval and submission of documents to customers.
• Support project schedule adherence, including FOB milestones.

• Heat balance diagrams and correction curves
• P&IDs
• Equipment Outline and assembly drawings
• Laydown and foundation drawings
• Shipping and packing documents
• Net cost summary (engineering input)

Skills & Experience

• Good experience in AutoCAD
• 7 to 12 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of steam turbine, condenser, and BOP systems
• Experience in EPC / OEM power plant projects
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and interface requirements
• Effective coordination with design, quality, and project teams

Qualifications: Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering/ Masters in Energy( Power Plant) Engg
