The role
ALS Environmental is currently seeking a Bottle Dispatch Officer to support our warehouse team in Stafford. This role is designed to provide dedicated assistance with bottle preparation, inventory management, and sample container dispatch, ensuring smooth warehouse operations and timely client service.
The day to day
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and dispatch bottles and sample kits for clients
- Order, stock, and manage inventory of sample containers and supplies
- Coordinate logistics for sample dispatch
- Support general warehouse duties as required
These tasks are critical to maintaining operational efficiency, accurate inventory management, and timely client service.
The essentials
We are looking for someone with strong organisational and operational skills who enjoys working in a safety-oriented, fast-paced, detail-focused environment.
This is a physically active warehouse role. You can expect:
- Regular manual handling, including lifting of up to 15kg, carrying and moving stock
- Repetitive tasks such as picking, packing, stock movement or esky pressure cleaning
- Standing and walking for extended periods throughout your shift
Safety is a core value and strong focus at ALS. We will provide:
- Manual handling training and site safety induction
- Equipment and mechanical aids training where reasonably practicable
- Clear safe work procedures and a supportive team environment
You will bring:
- Previous experience in warehouse, laboratory, or operational support roles
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Reliable, with good communication and time management skills
- Ability to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the role
- The right to work in Australia
