Job Description
DescriptionOur dedicated distribution team performs an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from automated and manual stock locations, and sorting and packing orders. Logistics Operations prepares and verifies returned packages, ensuring any needing special attention are properly handled. Incoming mail is entered into the tracking system, and returns are processed for credit or refund, with customer issues addressed. In the role of a Returns Mail & Credit Processor, you will receive and sort packages, verify those needing special attention, process returns for credit or refund, and handle any customer concerns related to returns.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and sort incoming packages at the dockEnter and assist with in-house mail deliveries as neededScan product barcodes and sort items into designated binsEnsure accuracy in sorting and processing tasksOrder departmental supplies and prepare packages for credit processingVerify and process returned merchandise, giving special attention where requiredCommunicate with customers regarding returns and resolve department-specific errorsProcess returns for credit, refund, repair, or exchange
Basic QualificationsBasic reading and math skillsStrong communication skills in English (written, verbal, and listening)Ability to make effective decisions and remain composed in high-stress situationsFamiliarity with using a pallet jack (preferred)Preferred QualificationsStrong organizational skillsExperience in a similar role or industryFamiliarity with scanning and sorting technologyProficiency in email, telephone, and in-person communicationWork Environment and Physical Demands:Ability to stand for 5 to 8 hours and lift 10-25 lbs regularlyComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
