Job Description
Assists with the setup and tear down of all technical equipment, including cables, cameras, and audio gear. Manages cabling and logistics during live broadcasts to ensure a safe and efficient production environment. Coordinates timeouts during live events, ensuring proper timing and communication with the production team. Provides general support to camera operators, audio engineers, and other crew members during production. Troubleshoots any logistical issues related to equipment or crew placement during live broadcasts. Assists with managing on-site equipment, including setup, transportation, and storage. Acts as the point of contact for ensuring all utility-related tasks are completed on time. Works with the Director and Producer to ensure smooth transitions and setups during breaks or timeouts. Additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to problem solve and make decisions. Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions. Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projects. Meticulous attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude. Knowledge of NCAA, Big 12, and University rules and regulations related to position. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations. Outstanding organizational skills, including a strong design sense and close attention to detail.
