The Job
As a PSW at Circle of Care, you will support seniors living in their own homes by following care plans. This includes hands-on personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and meal preparation. You may also help with light housekeeping and provide companionship and emotional support.
You’ll travel between client homes during the day within your community. Having a car is helpful but not required. You’ll stay in regular contact with our coordinators and supervisors, who support you and manage scheduling.
This Role is a Great Fit if You Are:
A recent PSW graduate or equivalent * (see What You Need section below), or an experienced PSW
Internationally trained healthcare professionals (e.g., nurse, physician, or other regulated professional). No Canadian certification is required to work with us as a PSW.
Looking for the ability to create a schedule that supports your personal commitments * (see What You Need section below)
Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working independently in the community

Why Circle of Care?
Hourly Wage: Starting rate: $21.11 per hour, plus a $3.00/hour Permanent Compensation Enhancement, with additional increases based on tenure. A $0.60/hour premium applies to evening and weekend shifts.
Partial TTC/Mileage Reimbursement: Reimbursement of up to 65% of the cost of a monthly TTC pass for PSWs who are driving their own vehicle or taking public transit.
Paid Sick Time: Full-time employees are eligible for paid sick time.

What You Need (must-haves)
Current immunization records
Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English
Ability to work at least one day every other weekend (at a premium rate) and be available at least 24 hours each week
One of the following:
PSW certificate (approved Ontario curriculum)
DSW certification
RN/RPN student (minimum one year completed)
Internationally trained RN, RPN, midwife, or physician
Home Support Worker, Health Care Aide, Personal Attendant
RN, RPN, Paramedic
OTA/PTA, CDA, Child & Youth Care
Internationally trained allied health professionals
Nice to Haves (but not required)
Access to a car
Ability to speak another language (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Tamil, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish)

We are currently most focused on hiring PSWs across the following GTA locations with a variety of daytime and evening shifts available:
North York (For 7 am - 3 pm, 7 am - 5 pm, 8 am - 7 pm, 10 am - 6 pm, 10 am - 8 pm, 2 pm - 10 pm, 3 pm – 11 pm, 4 pm - 10 pm, 5 pm - 10 pm and 5 pm - 11 pm on both weekdays and weekends)
Don Mills (For 7 am - 3 pm, 10 am - 6 pm, 3 pm – 11 pm and 5 pm - 11 pm on both weekdays and weekends)
York Mills (For 7 am – 3 pm and 5 pm – 10 pm on both weekdays and weekends)
York (For 7 am - 5 pm, 4 pm - 9 pm, 4 pm - 10 pm and 5 pm - 10 pm on both weekdays and weekends)
