Job Summary
A Senior Business Advisor (BA) at MACU is expected to have a high level of business acumen. A BA should be considered an industry expert regarding the banking needs of small to medium sized businesses and act as an advisor accordingly. A BA will be expected to grow revenue through various methods while managing a specific allocated budget for their business development needs. This position will be under the Business Services department and report to a Business Services Sales Manager.Job Description

This is not a transactional role—you’ll operate as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, helping businesses grow through tailored banking and treasury management solutions.

- Own and lead the full sales lifecycle, including complex and high-value opportunities
- Manage and grow a large, diverse portfolio of business relationships
- Serve as a senior advisor on business banking and treasury management strategies
- Identify and execute on relationship expansion opportunities across existing clients
- Navigate complex client needs and customized solutions with a high level of autonomy
- Conduct strategic business reviews and deliver insights that strengthen partnerships
- Partner cross-functionally to influence outcomes and enhance member experience
- Represent and model MACU’s values and relationship-first culture
✅ What You Bring
- 3+ years of B2B relationship management or business banking experience (senior-level candidates bring deeper portfolio ownership and complexity)
- Strong banking and financial services acumen, especially with business clients
- Proven ability to manage complex relationships and sales cycles independently
- Advanced communication and presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders
- Strategic, self-directed mindset with the ability to prioritize and execute
- Experience with fintech tools, Microsoft Office, and virtual client engagement
