Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • Job title: Revenue Coordinator – Revenue Management Advisory Services 

  • Job Family: Revenue Management 

  • Reports to: Director, RMAS All-Inclusive Operations  

  • Position Type: Full Time 

  • Location(s): Mexico City Regional Office 

 

OBJECTIVE 

Assist RMAS Revenue Managers with non-stakeholder-facing tasks, including but not limited to preparing for sales strategy meetings, report production; business transient and promotion rate loading; support system diagnostics and audits; implementing hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems; escalating technical questions related to the reservations and reporting systems to the appropriate support desk in a timely manner; and monitoring compliance with and participation in regional promotions and eChannels. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE  

 

Education and Experience  

  • A degree in a relevant business discipline preferred or demonstration of equivalent work experience

 

CRITICAL TASKS 

Revenue Administrative Duties 

  • Assist Revenue Managers with the preparation for sales strategy meetings and reporting production, business transient and promotion rate loading. 

  • Assist in the implementation of the hotel sales strategy in the reservation and inventory systems. 

  • Escalate technical questions related to the reservations and reporting systems to the correct support desk in a timely manner. 

  • Assist with system diagnostics and audits. 

  • Monitor compliance with and participation in regional promotions and eChannels. 

  • Review and report parity issues within the appropriate systems. 

  • Support the administration and coordination of the department’s payroll processes. 

Computer Skills  

  • Use computer systems and software packages to input, access, modify, store, or output information. 

  • Enter and retrieve data from computer systems using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball.

Stakeholder Relations 

  • Address Revenue Manager’s needs in a professional, positive way and on time. 

  • Acts as a liaison, when necessary, with regional/corporate systems support. 

  • Inform and/or updates peers on relevant information in a timely manner. 

Communication 

  • Speak to stakeholders and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language and timely manners. 

Working with Others 

  • Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. 

  • Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or guests with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality. 

  • Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments. 

Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement 

  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. 

Physical Tasks 

  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. 

  • Move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. 

Policies and Procedures 

  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information. 

  • Follow company and department policies and procedures. 

  • Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. 

  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
