We are seeking a passionate, experienced and people-focused leader to join Issuer Services as General Manager, Issuer Services (East Coast). Reporting to the Director, Client Relations, Issuer Services, you’ll lead a team of approximately 10 Relationship Managers across the East Coast and oversee a diverse client portfolio, driving retention, growth and service excellence. You’ll be a key member of the Issuer Services ANZ Leadership team.
A role you will love
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional client service, with a focus on an inclusive and high performing culture.
- Lead and build senior client relationships across a broad portfolio (including ASX-listed and unlisted clients), maintaining trusted C-suite connections and ensuring exceptional service outcomes.
- Together with the Issuer Services ANZ leadership team, execute the ANZ and global Issuer Services strategy.
- Drive commercial outcomes by identifying cross-sell opportunities, supporting contract renewals and contributing to revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Represent Computershare in market at client forums and industry events, strengthening our market presence and deepening industry relationships. This will include client and market presentations.
- Manage risk and governance by applying policies and controls, proactively identifying and escalating issues, and supporting audit and regulatory compliance expectations.
- Innovative thinking to develop creative solutions to complex challenges. This includes the ability to problem solve for clients while ensuring a high standard of service.
What will you bring to the role?
Proven people leadership experience (leading leaders and/or senior relationship teams), with a track record of developing capability and performance and creating engagement.
Strong client and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with senior decision makers and manage complex issues to resolution.
Demonstrated ability to deliver strategy and translate business plans into measurable outcomes (retention, growth, service and financial performance).
Commercial acumen with experience in contract/renewal management, portfolio performance and identifying growth opportunities.
Confidence as an external ambassador and presenter, representing the organisation at client meetings, industry forums and Computershare events.
The ability to adapt to and lead a team through changing market conditions and business environments
Experience in financial services, professional services, technology or business process outsourcing (issuer services/registry experience advantageous).
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to align diverse internal stakeholders and drive cross-functional delivery.
Tertiary education is desirable but not essential.
