Join our Retail AP Team and advance your career as a Retail AP SME - Polish speaking!

 Retail AP SME is responsible to assure that all retail network related costs are processed in time and reflecting correctly in the retail P&L. Also, retail accountant is the first point of contact of the retail network operated in the supported country.

 

In this role You will: 

  • Review, analyse in case of any issue occurred on individual portfolio related documents (invoices, credit notes).

  • Conduct analysis and investigation of any occurred incident in relation to the AP processes on team portfolio.

  • Assist team members with technical issues – SAP, Excel, Outlook, Blackline template.

  • Set-up control reports for the team based on request. Update these reports regularly.

  • Supports team with new technical solutions – PowerBI, MS flow, AI.

  • Adhere to the Team’s regular Key Performance Indicators.

  • Initiates and supports with expertise mid-term and long term projects to impact team performance, efficiency.

  • Ensures month end close related checks on own and team’s portfolio.

  • Performs (MEC) related accrual posting in Blackline own scope, team portfolio.

  • Prepares BSA reconciliation for the team’s assigned General Ledger accounts.

  • Interface supervision and issue solving.

  • Support Line Manager in all projects, systems implementations, strategic topics and any ad hoc activities needed.

  • Acts as a subject matter expert for the retail accounting team, may lead projects from technical side.

  • Provides coaching for team members in technical related questions.

  • Ensure relevant, in-scope process related documentation is updated and ensure compliance with policies, controls, and Delegation of Authority across AP processes.

  • Support internal and external audits, providing evidence and addressing findings.

 

What You will need to be successful: 

  • University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Procurement or other relevant field. Supply Chain /Sourcing/Logistics management is preferred.

  • Proven experience in accounting / finance - preferably P2P/AP

  • Fluency in English language and Fluency in Polish language

  • Experience in SAP.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

  • Communicate effectively both written and verbally.

  • Solid SAP system knowledge.

  • Good decision making skills.

  • Good time management and organisation skills.

Desirable criteria:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience handling complex processes with high levels of detail

  • Ability to work under time pressure and to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Good partner management and communication  skills.

  • Highly motivated, willing to learn new systems and processes.
