Job Description
The Production & Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily operations at the Madison Center. This position ensures a smooth and efficient workflow across Client Services, Shipping, and facility operations.
This role is highly visible and serves as a central point of coordination-supporting courier scheduling, assisting with shipping and inventory processes, and providing front desk support to deliver an excellent client experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily and weekly schedules for Great Lakes couriers.
- Oversee courier management activities with the opportunity to supervise, including timecards and expense processes.
- Support export blood sample, documentation and FSH shipment processing.
- Prepare incoming and outgoing genetic shipments and help input related data.
- Support maintenance of frozen semen and embryo inventory.
- Answer incoming calls, route inquiries, and maintain Madison Center phone coverage.
- Greet and assist onsite visitors; ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
- Manage and track fleet vehicle maintenance and scheduling.
- Support data entry across departments, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in agriculture or animal science field preferred
- Strong customer service background; ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to prioritize and shift quickly
- Self-starter who can identify needs and take initiative
