Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

How Will You Make an Impact?:
You will play a key role in supporting the production of high-quality products that enable scientific research and healthcare advancements worldwide. Through a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement, you will help Thermo Fisher Scientific deliver on its mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

A Day in the Life:

Carry out Standard Operating Procedures involved in high throughput manufacturing, visual inspection, material handling and inventory control. 

Operate semi-automated equipment in the production of Polyacrylamide Gels

Complete production schedule to plan and maintain sufficient output levels measured on an hourly basis. 



Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)

Experience:

3-5 years in a manufacturing-based environment (Equipment experience required) 



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices
Experience with ISO 9001and/or GMP manufacturing environment

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $16.78–$25.16.
